During presentation, notice that I over prepare because I feel like the time will go by long if I do not have a lot to say, but in reality, I tend to over speak and become very repetitive. In reality, I could be more precise with the points that I am try to say. Overall, my biggest strength when I give presentations is the support of the crowd or the audience. The audience is very supportive even if I do make a mistake or feel like I made an huge error that I can't overlook. Instead, they will encourage me to go on. Also, they laugh at the points or participate at the points where I need them to, which makes my presentation more easier to deliver. Therefore, these are my strengths and weakness whenever I deliver my presentation. Hopefully, I can correct my weaknesses and make them my strengths.Thursday, October 29, 2015
Khalil Dunham-Carson' Strengths and Weaknesses.
For my public speaking experiences, I learned that I am very confident. I do not need note cards or any type of notes to remember what I am talking about. I usually make strong eye contact. I might not stare at everyone, but I try my best to make it seem like I am. I do not shake my hands or get really nervous when I talk so that is another strength. I need to work on my verbal filers because I say "like" when I speak without even noticing. However, when I say like, I usually try to give an example. It is not like the typical "like" as in lack for words, but it might come off across like that. So instead, I am going to try to expand my vocabulary to correct this weakness. In addition, when I do public speaking, I usually move around to make the presentation engaging. I heard positive feedback stating that people like it when I move and talk at the same time. The body language is strong and I have a good posture and hand movements. On the other hand, people do say I move too much, which can be very distracting to the presentation.

Hi Khalil, I definitely agree with what you have said so far. I think making your points more succinct might also help you reduce verbal fillers and make stronger points.
